You might find that this website isn’t actually my first personal site. I previously designed one using React—if you can still see this post, it should already have been taken down. Maybe one day I’ll let it see the light of day again?

Why redesign it again?
One reason is that this project is basically built from scratch with React—scraping together all kinds of things, turning many elements into components, and reading and displaying information from a config. For a more large-scale website, this kind of design is definitely better. But I’m just building a site for self-entertainment (?). What I really need is a highly concise experience for visitors, and a highly flexible level of customization for myself. Obviously, this project has grown too big, so I want to take this opportunity to redesign the whole website.
What’s missing? What’s added?
It’s pretty obvious: if you look at the homepage, there’s only a description and some links—just that. No fancy animations, no beautiful colors, nothing like that.
But in exchange, it loads faster (even if most people don’t necessarily need it that fast), there’s a design for the “public and private personalities,” and—most importantly—the appearance of blog functionality. I’d say the “public and private personalities” design is something I’ll definitely have fun with in the future, but for now I’ll keep you in suspense (mainly because I haven’t figured it out yet).
What era is it, so why write a blog?
Mainly because I want to find a quiet corner—no algorithms, no weird strangers, no platform rules—so I can freely express my thoughts. I think this is a space that really needs to be preserved.
Also, seeing other people who code write blogs feels really cool, so…

I’ll probably update this site slowly over time to make it cooler. As for whether this blog will have a subscription mechanism in the future? I want to, but I need to research how to implement it. Anyway, for now, that’s it! Looking forward to all my politically incorrect or R18 posts (??
